The Kelowna Rockets and Frisco Rams cranked it up at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum.

The Frisco Rams stopped the Kelowna Rockets, 8-5, behind an impressive performance from Jesus Navarro. The 26-year old first baseman made life miserable for Kelowna pitching. He was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Frisco reliever Justin Caspersen picked up the win, upping his record to 6-3. Paul Richards was saddled with the loss.

Frisco used the clutch hitting of Henry Burns to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Rams the lead, 7-4. For the game, Burns had 1 single and 2 doubles in 5 at-bats.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Burns.

After today's action, Frisco sits at 68-83, while Kelowna falls to 87-65.
