The Kelowna Rockets locked up a win at Casino Grounds, knocking off the Roaring River Steelheads, 5-4. On the mound for Kelowna was right-hander Zach Clark. He played a major role in the triumph. Clark got the win, improving to 9-9. He gave up 12 hits and walked 0 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 4 runs. Alan Moors wrapped it up, recording his 4th save.
Bryan Timm had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the fifth for Kelowna. With the bases loaded and the Rockets leading 3-1, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Timm told the Kelowna News.
Kelowna is now 63-90, Roaring River 68-84.
