The Louisiana Crocodiles got a magnificent effort from pitcher Danny Siwek, who kept Clearwater hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Crocodiles win at The Swamp. The 4th-place Crocodiles now sit at 66-63.

Israel Obando had a big run-scoring double for the Crocodiles in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Louisiana leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Jamie White, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2059 draft, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Crocodiles ahead, 3-1.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Siwek said.
