Toreros first baseman Mark Carrozza left his mark on his team's 9-7 win over the Dallas Texans. Carrozza, who is tied for 3rd in the RCL in triples with 3, went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Cabo San Lucas in the contest. The Texans have now dropped 10 straight.

Had Mark Launay not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Launay hit a 2-run double. That made the score 9-7, in favor of the Toreros.

"From the last whatever, five, six, seven games, there's really only one way to go and that's up," said losing manager Lester Burrow.
