Milwaukee Nets 4-3 Win Versus Toreros
|
The Milwaukee Millers picked up a win at The Mandalore Complex, topping the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 4-3. On the mound for Milwaukee was right-hander Alex Solis. He played a principal role in the triumph. The win belonged to David Lopez in relief. His record improves to 4-0. Jimmy Sherry took the loss for Cabo San Lucas. Milwaukee has now won 3 in a row.
Tony Romero hit a run-scoring double off Jimmy Sherry in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Millers in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Romero had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"Alex was commanding his pitches," said Milwaukee manager Jim Clemons.
