Beetlecats Earn Clutch Win, 5-4
Sandy Springs got a big-time effort from pitcher Juan Tellez, but it wasn't enough to keep the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats from winning the game, 5-4. Tellez threw 8.0 innings allowing 2 runs for the losing team. Buzzard's Bay reliever Matt Williams picked up the win, upping his record to 10-3. Victor Crawford absorbed the loss. The second-place Beetlecats now have a win-loss record of 85-41.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Buzzard's Bay trailing 4-3, Jon Kincaid hit a curveball from Victor Crawford to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Beetlecats had a walk-off win.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Kincaid said.
