The Evanston Bishops knocked off the Carson City Mustang, 4-3, in TML AA action at Cowboys Stadium. Evanston pitcher and Legend Lake, Wisconsin, native Dan Gardner had an outstanding performance. Yoo-ngan Chen closed the door for Evanston, picking up his 2nd save of the year. The losing streak for Carson City has now reached 5 games.

Ian Dalton came through with a big-time hit for Evanston. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Dalton. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
