Bishops Come Back Late to Clip Pipe Fitters
The Evanston Bishops racked up a win at FUBU Field, bumping off the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, 5-4. Caleb Broussard, who started for Evanston, pitched effectively for his team. Caleb Broussard picked up the win in relief for Evanston, while Brendon Wager took the loss. Evanston is first in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division with a record of 78-47.

Evanston took a 5-4 lead on Adam Ruma's 12th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Ruma hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Niagara Falls pitcher Brendon Wager visibly frustrated.

After the game, Evanston manager Demetrio Recchia applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
