Warriors Make It 5 In a Row with 5-1 Triumph Over Bighorn
Walnut Creek picked up a win at Castlerock Field, bumping off the Bighorn Bison, 5-1. Pitcher Joseph Fredericks was a major reason the Warriors emerged victorious. Fredericks, now 4-3, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Walnut Creek now has a record of 35-11 with the win.

The Warriors got a big at-bat from right fielder Dan Edwards. For the game, Edwards went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Walnut Creek a 2-0 lead.

"Joseph had himself a pretty good evening," said Walnut Creek manager Armando Medina.
