Red Bulls Come Back Late to Clip Cattlemen
The Snelling Cattlemen got a superb performance from left fielder Jordan Johnson. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Riverside. The Red Bulls won the game, 7-4. In spite of the loss, Johnson was named the player of the game. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Tyler Reed earned the win to go to 8-3. He allowed 4 earned runs on 10 hits, with 1 walk and no strikeouts. Willie Chaparro recorded his 31st save for Riverside.

Riverside used the timely hitting of Roberto Argueta to capture the win. The pinch hitter stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Red Bulls on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but he made it count.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Riverside manager Sean Bergeron.

Riverside improves to 95-51 with the win. They lead their division by 12 games.
