6-4 Win Gets Adirondack to 76-48
Moose Jaw got a terrific game from left fielder Tony Curiel. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Adirondack, 6-4. Curiel was 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Ezra Faulkner, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. The victory gives the Lumberjacks a record of 76-48.

It could have been a different outcome for Adirondack, had it not been for Bobby Houp, the 24-year old third baseman . Houp contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Adirondack up, 5-4.

Houp attributed the win to "an all-around good team performance."
