Victory Over Cornhuskers Takes Riverside to 94-51
|
Riverside Red Bulls starter Alastair Martin had all his pitches working at Red Bull Stadium. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-1 Riverside win over the DeKalb Cornhuskers. Riverside has now won 5 in a row.
Mario de Jesus, who is tied for 5th in the RAA in home runs with 21, came through for Riverside with a solo home run in the bottom of the third. The designated hitter went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 2 runs batted in.
