Lefty Rae Leads Boston to 2-1 Win
|
Boston Whitecaps starter Tim Rae turned in an exceptional performance against the Roaring River Steelheads at Casino Grounds, resulting in a Boston win, 2-1. Chris Sarne closed the game out for Boston, earning his 31st save. Roaring River now owns a losing streak of 5 games.
Rae tossed 112 pitches over 8 innings to clinch the win for the Whitecaps. The left-hander allowed just 2 hits, while racking up 11 strikeouts in the game.
