DeKalb Beats Clearwater in Extra Innings
Despite the exploits of right fielder Aaron Rowe, the Clearwater Seagulls were beaten by the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 12-9, in 10 innings. Rowe hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. DeKalb pitcher John Kibler got the win. He's now 3-4. Rodolfo de Gante was tagged with the loss. DeKalb is in 6th place in the TML AA Bruce Bochy Division with a record of 55-68.

One big at-bat came with a runner on 1st in the top of the tenth inning. Marshall Blumberg hit a single off Clearwater pitcher Rodolfo de Gante. The Cornhuskers went on to win the game.

Blumberg told a DeKalb Today reporter that he felt "relieved" after the win.
