The Frisco Rams defeated the Marysville Monarchs, 5-4, in 10 innings in RCL AA action at Mitts Fieldhouse. Frisco pitcher Aaron Gianos had a standout performance. Dan Thompson picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 7-4. Mark Huffer suffered the loss. The 6th-place Rams hiked their record to 60-63.

Bill Powers provided a timely hit. The Frisco first baseman delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rams on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Powers.
