Kingston Excels, Carson City Blows Out Fraser Valley
The Fraser Valley Black Bears and Carson City Mustang left the fans buzzing.

The Carson City Mustang had no problem beating the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 13-3, at Cowboys Stadium. Mark Kingston, who is tied for 9th in the TAA in bases on balls with 60, led the onslaught. He belted 3 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored three times for Carson City. Scott Horner went 5.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits. The right-hander struck out 3 and walked 3. With the win, he's now 6-7 this season.

With Carson City leading 2-1 in the bottom of the first, Kingston hit a cutter from Adam DeVoe for a 2-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Mustang ahead, 4-1.

"This was one of those games you love to be a part of," said Kingston.

The Mustang, at 46-74, sit in 6th place in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division.
