Isle of Destiny was the site for Roberto Clemente League action featuring the Bighorn Bison and Tonga G.o.D.

Martin Bond was a major contributor to the 7-3 Tonga win over Bighorn. The G.o.D center fielder went 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Ben Benson earned the win to go to 5-2. He allowed 3 runs on 11 hits, with no walks and 11 strikeouts in 8 innings of work.

With Tonga leading 2-1 in the bottom of the second, Bond hit a fastball from Israel Cancel for a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the G.o.D ahead, 5-1.

"Good to pick up this win," Bond said.

Tonga now has a record of 21-19 with the win.
