Monarchs Lose Versus Boston, 6-2
The Boston Whitecaps converted a terrific effort from starter Tim Rae into a win over the Marysville Monarchs at Mitts Fieldhouse. The Whitecaps won the game by a final score of 6-2. Their 81-57 record puts the Whitecaps second in the RCL AA Lou Piniella League.

Jaime Silvey went 1-3 with 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs for Boston. The 26-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a 2-run single off Gabe Garza. It was his 63rd hit of the season.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Silvey.
