Both teams had their chances, but the Frisco Rams eventually prevailed.

The Frisco Rams weathered an outstanding game by Moose Jaw shortstop Jeff Eaton to topple the Canucks, 4-3. Eaton slugged 2 home runs. Nelson Zermeno earned his 4th save in 8 chances.

Frisco took advantage of an error in the top of the sixth inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Mike Paquette hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Rams in front, 3-2.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Moose Jaw manager Paul Johnston, "let me know."

The third-place Rams sport a record of 79-58.
