Tornadoes Suffer 6-2 Loss to Chicago
Chicago Eclipse starter Dan Lenart kept the Kansas City Tornadoes hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. Lenart got the win, improving to 2-0. He gave up 6 hits and walked 3 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. Chicago is now 31-16. Kansas City is 18-30.

Chicago took a 6-2 lead on Israel Cardenas's 5th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Cardenas hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Kansas City pitcher Manuel Zepeda visibly frustrated.

"Dan gets on the mound and he competes and that's what you want," said Chicago manager Demetrio Recchia.
