Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Greg Warden the Madison Beehive defeated the Frisco Rams, 6-2. Josh Steventon, who is tied for 7th in the TAA in innings pitched with 142.2, was the winner. He's now 9-12. The loser was David Doss. Carlos Serrato wrapped it up, recording his 27th save.

John Schneider had a big 2-run double for the Beehive in the bottom of the second inning. With Madison leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from fireballing 6' 9" right-hander David Doss and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Beehive ahead, 3-0.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Frisco manager Joe Renken.

The 6th-place Beehive bumped their record to 49-66.
