The Sandy Springs Spartans overcame a pretty good performance by Wauwatosa right fielder Marc Corcoran, beating the Indians, 4-2, at Albert Park. Corcoran went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Spartans sit in third place in the TML AA Bruce Bochy Division with a record of 76-59.

Sandy Springs used a well-timed hit by Maxence Amico to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Spartans ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Sandy Springs manager Rafael Alonso.
