Wolverines Lose By a Run at Frisco
The exploits of catcher Sergio Benitez helped the Frisco Rams defeat the Wichita Wolverines, 3-2. Benitez was 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles. Dan Thompson closed the door for Frisco, picking up his 19th save of the year. Frisco now has a record of 58-56 with the win.

Oliver El Kamche had a big run-scoring double for the Rams in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Frisco leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Carlos Rotiz and swatted a double to center. It was his 20th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rams ahead, 3-1.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Abel Keller.
