Cornhuskers Use Late Surge to Win
Starting pitcher Dan Boulter took care of business, helping the DeKalb Cornhuskers stifle the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, 4-2. Picking up the save was 27-year old right-handed pitcher Jason Englert. The 'W' lifts DeKalb's record to 67-68.

Kenneth Turpin chipped in for DeKalb, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the bottom of the eighth inning. For the game, the shortstop went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said DeKalb skipper Trey Burrell.
