Snyder Sizzles -- Smokes Rams for 5 Hits
|
James Snyder of the Cattlemen was unstoppable in today's 16-3 victory over the Frisco Rams at Outlander Park. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Snelling second baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."
James Snyder singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Justin Noonan in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
Snyder is swinging at a .301 pace on the year with 15 home runs, 73 RBIs and 88 runs scored. He has played in 131 games.
