The Spokane Bulldogs stopped the Marysville Monarchs, 14-3, behind an impressive performance from Nick Stuart. The 23-year old left fielder made life miserable for Marysville pitching. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The Bulldogs now have a record of 40-74 with the win over Marysville.

In the bottom of the fourth, Spokane catcher Randy Guidry had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Guidry stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 5-2, Spokane. For the game, he went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Guidry told a Spokane Citizen reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
