Storm Troopers Fall Short, 5-4, at Riverside
The Riverside Red Bulls did just enough to sneak past the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 5-4, at Red Bull Stadium. Riverside pitcher Paul Nuckols earned player of the game honors. Willie Chaparro got the save, the 22nd for him this season. The slumping Storm Troopers have lost 6 straight.

In the bottom of the third inning, center fielder Tsugunao Adachi came through big-time for the Red Bulls. With Riverside trailing 2-0, he belted a 2-run home run.

"I was a little disappointed," said San Antonio manager Yen-nien Zhou. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
