The Evanston Bishops trumped the Kelowna Rockets, 10-2, at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. Evanston shortstop Ryan Godec was terrific. He went 3-4 with 2 doubles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 4 times. Evanston is now 72-40, 6 games up in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division.

Evanston catcher Tony Alvarez contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 25th hit of the season and put the Bishops ahead, 5-2.

"We'll need a much better effort, the next time out," said losing manager Ch'ak'iso Chaga.
