The Mexico City Luchadores faced a tough opponent in Cabo San Lucas pitcher B.J. Bichler, but still scratched out a win at Field de Los Layendas by a final score of 8-4 in 10 innings. Bichler went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. Mexico City reliever Dan Wallace was the winner. His record is now 1-2. The losing pitcher was Andy Carr. The Luchadores, at 21-24, sit in 4th place in the Roberto Clemente League International Division.

Mexico City used the timely hitting of Gary Greenlaw to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Luchadores on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
