The Frisco Rams earned a close win over the Murraysville Peacocks, thanks in part to David Doss. The Frisco right-hander played a key role in the 3-1 victory. Dan Thompson, who is tied for 5th in the RAA in saves with 16, earned the save for Frisco. The Rams improved their record to 55-55 with the win over Murraysville.

Frisco used a timely hit from Dan Collins to get the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rams ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Every loss hurts," said Murraysville manager Joseph Kelley. "But this was a tough one."
