|
DeKalb starter Justin Price pitched well against the Clearwater Seagulls at Chapman Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 10 innings. Jose Vega notched his 1st save of the season. DeKalb is 5th in the TML AA Bruce Bochy Division with a record of 65-64.
Marshall Blumberg had a direct impact on the outcome. Blumberg contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put DeKalb up, 4-3.
"To become 'battle-tested,'" said Price, "you need to compete in this kind of contest."
