The Windsor Royals defeated the Sandy Springs Spartans, 4-3, in 10 innings in TML AA action at Windsor Grounds. Windsor pitcher Gustavo Castillo had a standout performance. The second-place Royals lifted their record to 65-44.

The Royals got a clutch hit from catcher Mel Brace. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Royals.

"This wasn't a good win," said Castillo. "It was a great win."
