Donelson Socks it to Rams, Cracks 5 Hits
The Bradenton Marauders stopped the Frisco Rams by a score of 5-4 at The Field at Bradenton today, with the lion's share of the credit going to center fielder David Donelson. The 24-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Donelson said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."

Donelson did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Rams.

"Not much that I can say," offered Frisco manager Brent Garbie. "He just hammered the heck out of us."

David Donelson singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, struck out in the 8th, hit an RBI double in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off Elijah Evans in the 11th.

Donelson is batting .309 with 15 home runs and 76 RBIs this season.
