Murraysville turned a good effort from starter Danny Baldwin into a win over the Frisco Rams at Red Bull Stadium. The final score was 2-1. Murraysville, at 56-53, occupies 5th place in the RCL AA Lou Piniella League.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Peacocks had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when second baseman Manny Cruz hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Steve Thomas and made the score 2-1, Peacocks. Cruz was 1-4.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Baldwin said.
