Due in large part to center fielder Austin Thompson, the Hawaii Honu sunk the Bloomington Blazers, 8-5. Thompson hit 3 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored three times. Tom Mitcham earned the save for Hawaii. The Honu go to 24-16, putting them first in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.

In the bottom of the third, Thompson had a 3-run home run for Hawaii. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Honu on top, 3-2.

"I had some good swings out there," said Thompson.
