Seagulls Handle DeKalb, Snag 3-1 Win
The Clearwater Seagulls got a magnificent effort from pitcher Dave Perez, who kept DeKalb hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Seagulls win at Chapman Field. Perez picked up the win for Clearwater, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. Rodolfo de Gante closed it out for Clearwater, earning his 4th save.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Seagulls had to cash in when they had the chance.
