The Kelowna Rockets topped the Moose Jaw Canucks by a score of 9-2. Leading the way was shortstop Mario Miranda. Miranda went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 3 for the Rockets. Eric Thornton earned the win, while 24-year old right-handed pitcher Xavier Capetillo took the loss for Moose Jaw. After today's action, Kelowna sits at 55-71; Moose Jaw slips to 82-43.

Kelowna designated hitter Eddie Wooldridge contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the sixth. With two down, he hit a curveball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 7th hit of the season and put the Rockets ahead, 6-2.
