Driscoll, Warriors Curb Millers, 3-0
|
Walnut Creek took on Milwaukee in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. John Driscoll, in particular, was fantastic. The Walnut Creek left-hander helped his team snag the win, 3-0. Juan Cruz locked down his 5th save. The first-place Warriors now sit at 30-10.
Driscoll, now 7-0, scattered 1 hit over 6 innings for the Warriors.
"I'm happy we won," said Driscoll. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
