The Windsor Royals beat the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 7-6, at The Stetson Bowl. The Royals got a fine performance from center fielder Randy Ainsworth, who was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Carlos Porras earned the win for Windsor. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 6 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 4-1. Chris Campbell earned the save for Windsor, his 13th of the year.

The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Ainsworth hit a run-scoring double off Nick Parks. It propelled the Royals into the lead, 6-5.

"I hopefully can keep it going and try to stay locked in as long as I can," said Ainsworth.

Windsor sits in first place in the TML AA Bruce Bochy Division at 65-42.
