Chargers Come Back Late to Top Spartans

Terra Linda left fielder Greg Maddux Jr. had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Sandy Springs Spartans, 8-6. Terra Linda reliever Jordan Garner picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Tsutomu Mori absorbed the loss. Terra Linda has now won 3 in a row.
The game was all tied up in the bottom of the ninth, until Maddux Jr. delivered big-time for Terra Linda, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Tsutomu Mori. The game-changing hit put the Chargers on top, 8-6.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Maddux Jr. said.
