The Swamp hosted a real pitchers' duel.

In a tight tilt between the Frisco Rams and the Louisiana Crocodiles, Luis Alvarado was the deciding factor. The Frisco right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. The win lifted the Frisco record to 54-52.

Frisco used the hitting of Tony Coleman to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Rams on top, 2-1. For the game, Coleman had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Coleman said.
