Atlantic City Offense Jammed Up by Shamrocks
|
The Pacifica Shamrocks beat the Atlantic City Rollers at McCormick Field. The final score was 5-1, in favor of Pacifica. Robby McDaniel led the way, going 2-for-4 for the home team. The winner in relief was Sean Boyce. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. He now owns a record of 2-3. The 6th-place Shamrocks own a record of 37-69.
McDaniel had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch fastball from Matt Burke, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Shamrocks a 3-1 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for McDaniel.
"I had some good swings out there," said McDaniel.
