Pipe Fitters Come Back Late to Clip Bishops
The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters earned a close win over the Evanston Bishops, thanks in part to Eli Carpenter. The Niagara Falls left-hander played a key role in the 3-2 victory. The 'W' lifts Niagara Falls's record to 67-54.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jeff Farrell in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Antonio Hernandez to win the game for Niagara Falls. The home crowd went nuts.

"The more wins we pile up," said Carpenter, "the more I like our chances."
