Burk Whacks 2 Home Runs in 12-5 Win
Boston third baseman Brad Burk had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 12-5. The win boosts the Whitecaps to 58-45. The loss puts the Black Bears at 46-57.

Henry Pitcher had a big grand slam home run for the Whitecaps in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Boston leading 6-5 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from Brian Vale and swatted a home run to right. It was his 18th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Whitecaps ahead, 10-5.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Pitcher told the Boston Herald. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
