West Island Jazz starter Sam Hickey pitched his team past the Quebec Armada, 4-2. West Island is now 24-21, while Quebec is 29-15.

West Island took a 3-2 lead on Dave Dimond Jr.'s 5th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Dimond Jr. hit in the top of the seventh, left Quebec pitcher Tim Jones visibly frustrated.

"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," Dimond Jr. told the West Island Bulletin.
