The Frisco Rams picked up a win at Basque Block Field, knocking off the Boise Hawks, 6-2. Starting pitcher Steve Thomas was a big reason why. Dan Thompson recorded the save for Frisco, his 13th of the season. The 5th-place Rams now sit at 52-50.

Frisco used the hitting of Tony Coleman to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Rams on top, 2-0. For the game, Coleman had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
