Red Bulls Topple Crocodiles, 8-4
|
Elijah Farley had a hand in Riverside defeating Louisiana by the score of 8-4. Farley went 2 for 4 at the plate, scoring 2 times and driving in 2 runs. Tyler Reed converted his 3rd save in 3 tries. Riverside is now 73-45, 7 games up in the RCLAA Lou Piniella League.
Farley contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Riverside in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 4-3, Farley took a cutter from Eric Moretti and stroked the double to left. His 25th double of the season allowed the Red Bulls to leap in front, 5-4.
"It was a solid team effort," said Farley after the game.
