The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters bumped off the Clearwater Seagulls, 9-6, at Chapman Field. Jeffrey Hicks hit 3 singles and 1 double. He also had 1 run batted in. Jose Vasquez had a big bases-clearing double for the Pipe Fitters in the top of the fifth inning. With Niagara Falls leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Dave Rios and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Pipe Fitters ahead, 7-3.
