Miller Helps Hackers Run Win Streak to 5
The Silicon Valley Hackers picked up a win, 12-4, over the Kelowna Rockets at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Steve Miller led the charge. The Enid, Oklahoma native went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Silicon Valley. Bobby Hurt earned the win. Javier Rios, who is tied for 3rd in the RAA with a 9.1 K/9 rate, took the loss for Kelowna. The first-place Hackers have won 5 in a row.

With Silicon Valley leading 5-2 in the bottom of the third, Miller hit a changeup from Javier Rios for a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Hackers ahead, 8-2.

"We've got great fans," said Miller. "I hope they got what they came for."
