Mountaineers Suffer 5-1 Loss to Pacifica
|
Manny Arias was nothing short of phenomenal for the Pacifica Shamrocks. The 24-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Black Mountain Mountaineers, 5-1. Pacifica reliever Manny Arias picked up the win, while Jared Vanderford took the loss for Black Mountain. The Shamrocks sport a record of 34-66.
Robby McDaniel chipped in a 2-run home run for Pacifica in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"Do what you're good at," said Pacifica manager Ben Bobzien. "That's all I ask of the team."
