Beaumont Defeated by Silicon Valley, 3-2

The home crowd came to cheer on their first-place Silicon Valley Hackers.
The Silicon Valley Hackers earned a close win over the Beaumont Drillers, thanks in part to Alex Caballero. The Silicon Valley left-hander played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Silicon Valley reliever Ron Williams picked up the win, upping his record to 5-5. Tom Hughes was saddled with the loss. Josh Criss recorded the save, making him 8 for 9.
Silicon Valley second baseman Dali Riitho helped the Hackers go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Riitho hit a run-scoring single off Beaumont pitcher Tom Hughes.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Riitho.
Silicon Valley improves to 57-42 with the win. They lead their division by 4 games.
